Screw fixing is firm at the beginning, but it is easy to loosen and crack; the mortise and tenon structure is more stable, and the parts are tightly connected through complex processes, which is not easy to crack and becomes tighter with use.

Dining tables made of different materials also vary in price and durability. Common solid wood materials include ash, white oak, rubber wood, ash, beech, cherry and black walnut, etc. Black walnut and cherry have warm colors but are more expensive; ash and white oak are hard and have beautiful textures, and are also good choices; rubber wood, ash and beech are more economical.
